København is a very old city nearly 900 years it has a lot of old buildings: churches,castles and living houses. the city is nearly surrounded of water, and also in the city is canals were you can sail on site seeing tours. Here is a big shopping street called Strøget it begins at the Rådhus Pladsen (Town Hall Square) and end at the Kongens Nytorv (New Kings Square) it 1.6 km. long. The city has many squares with a lot of famous statues.
If you go to Nyhavn (New Port) you will find a lot of fine restaurants. In old days this area was not a place for nice people it was mostly for drunken sailors. Now a days there are always a lot of tourist here. it's a beautiful place with old houses on the one side and the canal with old wooden ships on the other.
